Jackson Kayak’s top design team put an “HD” twist to the already popular Coosa model. This ‘heavy duty’ fishing craft boasts amped up specs/features and is slightly longer and wider than the original Coosa; this makes it even more stable and a perfect fit for anglers of all sizes or those who are really looking for a stand up fishing kayak. The hull is still river friendly, but the HD will track truer on the flat waters of lakes or inshore saltwater. Great Fishing Yak for all Waters
I purchased my Coosa HD new in 2017. I took out the console to clean up the deck since I do a lot of fly fishing, Also made a quick attach trolling motor transom for the stern.
I have fished fast moving rivers in North Arkansas and Texas, the marshes in south Louisiana, the flats and mangroves all over Florida, and chased big fish offshore. I've fished as long as 6 hours out of it inshore fishing, most of that time I was standing. Awesome boat! -
Classic, the best
I don't normally write reviews but had to here. I had heard that this boat was a top seller for years but had NO idea why, till I got one. I just spent the best week of my life on a kayak. This boat has it all, does it all and is perfect in every way. Spend a bit more and get the best.
