Great built kayak . Love the staxx I got. Will buy more. Only fault I found was the hooks for adjusting the seats break. Need to be made out of something besides plastic.

I just got back from two days floating the Current and Jack's fork rivers and the first day we had the Riviera which is great for a rental kayak. The second day they gave us the Staxx which I thought wold be great due to the mesh seat back. I got a quarter mile down river from our drop off point and leaned back and both clips holding the back broke...aargh! The straps had enough length that I was able to rig them to hold the seat up and complete the trip. My other issue was that it takes more effort to keep the kayak heading straight down river. Another thing is that it drags more in shallow water than the Riviera. I will be renting the Riviera in the future.

Very pleased with the quality of this kayak. I'm not one to splurge on items but this kayak I am glad I did. Well worth the money, super light, and very easy riding. The seat is also super comfy, can adjust it during your ride. Don't have to worry about your butt hurting after a few hours. Also very easy to haul coolers on the back. Just an all around good kayak!

I bought the Staxx a few weeks ago through a dealer in Rome Georgia and have taken it out 3 times, but found it very difficult to maintain a good consistent speed. It felt very heavy, draggy and slow, but very stable, so I think it would do well in a swiftly moving creek, but for covering any kind of distance even in very still water it is a tough feat. I most likely should have bought a lighter sit-on-top Kayak or the Tupelo.

Well built kayak. The seat is comfortable for hours. Very stable for a 285 pound man and cooler. Perfect spot for dry storage and the drink holders also. Kayak is dry even without using scupper plugs. Everyone that has rode it likes the feel of the kayak also. Would buy again and I have a friend that bought one also after riding mine. Great value!
